Emergency Surgery for Grover
Our sweet foster dog, Grover, is facing an unexpected medical emergency.
Over the weekend, Grover was rushed to the emergency hospital after becoming extremely lethargic and no longer acting like the happy dog we know and love. After an emergency evaluation, veterinarians discovered that he had a urinary blockage caused by bladder stones—a life-threatening condition that prevented him from urinating.
(Section to be updated) He is currently receiving treatment for a severe bladder infection and remains hospitalized on IV fluids to help stabilize him. The next critical step is surgery to remove the stones so he can recover and get back to living a happy, pain-free life.
The cost of Grover's emergency surgery and hospitalization is $9,723.68.
Despite everything he's been through, Grover continues to show everyone what a gentle, resilient soul he is. He has so much life ahead of him, and we are committed to giving him every chance to make a full recovery.
Unexpected medical emergencies like this can quickly deplete our medical fund. If you are able, please consider donating to help cover Grover's surgery and recovery. Every gift—whether it's $10, $25, $100, or more—will help Grover, and other animals like him, stay healthy and happy right here in Southern Oregon.
Together, we can give Grover the second chance he deserves.
Please donate today and help Grover get back on his paws.
