The problem of unwanted pet overpopulation is very real and getting worse. Years ago, FOTAS expanded our efforts beyond supporting the Jackson County Animal Shelter in order to reduce the number of animals entering shelters at all. The FOTAS Community Spay & Neuter Clinic offers all of our clients subsidized services, and we also have programs that make spay and neuter procedures even more affordable.

One such program is our Feral Fund. This fund makes it possible for us to dedicate entire days solely to the spaying and neutering of feral or community cats.. On those days, we can fix up to 60 cats in a day - stopping the overpopulation problem in its tracks. These newly-fixed cats are then released back to where they came from. This method is called "trap, neuter, release," or "TNR."

Right now, all donations made to the FOTAS Community Spay & Neuter Clinic TNR Feral Fund are MATCHED up to the first $25,000 raised, thanks to a generous donor. Please consider donating, to help fight the problem of unwanted pet overpopulation in the most humane, effective way possible.

Thank you.
