Bradley the Rat Terrier Matching Challenge

Bradley Matching Fund Challenge

Bradley the Rat Terrier is the beloved “child” of Wendy and George Hines. In his honor, they have generously offered to match up to $10,000 donated to Friends of the Animal Shelter, starting with Giving Tuesday on November 29th, and through the end of the year.

“Bradley is the center of our universe, and we could not love him more if we tried. He has literally changed our lives, and he fills our hearts with the most amazing love. In short, we adore him.”

Bradley started out as a 6-year-old shelter dog in Arizona who was returned twice, but the Hines can’t imagine why. In October 2017, they visited a shelter and met Bradley, who put his head on Wendy’s lap and immediately stole her heart. They adopted him the next day. Of course, he moved with Wendy and George when they came to the Rogue Valley in June 2018.

Bradley is now 11 years old and completely spoiled. “He has 17 beds! Can you believe that?” asked George, with a smile. “Bradley enjoys traveling with us and has visited 6 states already. All with his favorite toy, his treat ball. And, he’s keeping us fit by asking to go on walkies several times a day.”

Wendy exclaimed, “the best part of my day starts in the morning, when Bradley gets up and snuggles with me.” And George reports that he loves when Bradley meets him at the door at the end of the day with a wagging tail and lots of loving licks.

Wendy and George are so thankful that this frisky shelter dog has provided so much love over the past five years, and wanted to honor Bradley by helping other deserving dogs and cats find their fur-ever homes. And Friends of the Animal Shelter is thankful for the Hines’ generosity.
