We have incredible news! Friends of the Animal Shelter has received a wonderfully generous matching-fund challenge that directly addresses the #1 animal-welfare issue addressing our county – overpopulation due to “accidental” litters of puppies and kittens that are overwhelming the Jackson County Animal Shelter.
The Barbara Roastingear and Henry Oliver III Family Foundation has pledged a generous $25,000 matching gift that will allow FOTAS to establish a dedicated Community Partners Spay/Neuter Fund and formalize a grant making program which will enable small animal welfare organizations in Southern Oregon to apply for funding to support their spay/neuter efforts for non-shelter animals. (All animals adopted from the Jackson County Animal Shelter are spayed/neutered.)
Every gift made to Friends of the Animal Shelter in support of the Community Partners Spay/Neuter Fund will be matched dollar-for-dollar! A $50 donation becomes $100; $250 becomes $500!
We only have until November 30 to raise $25,000, so please donate today to double your gift!
